As a student of anthropology, Emma Francois should have become a researcher, or archaeologist. But during a visit to South America, she met people involved with weaving and embroidering and caught the fashion bug. Several creations produced with local artists later, the brand Sessun was born. The materials are exquisite, with subtle colours and trendy prints and the cut is always absolutely perfect. Fifteen years after its launch, Sessun continues to grow in line with its inspiration: wavering between bohemian and rock’n’roll, this eco-conscious brand maintains strong links with music and urban art and supports a number of events and emerging artists.
